Teacher questions
How do I publish a class?
Open Aura in Telegram, choose the teacher role, fill in your profile and add a class: date, time, length, number of spots, address and a pin on the map. Once published, the class appears on the map.
How do students book a class?
A student opens the class and books in one tap. You see the list of who booked and how many spots are left.
Do I need a website or private chats?
No. The schedule, bookings and reminders live in Aura, so you need no separate website or spreadsheets.
What happens if I move or cancel a class?
Everyone who booked gets a message from the bot. It is better to announce changes in advance.
How does a student cancel a booking?
A student can cancel through their booking in the app or write to you. You can state your cancellation rules in the class description.
Are reminders sent?
Yes, the bot reminds students about the class they booked.
How do reviews work?
After the class students are invited to rate it. Reviews are visible on your profile.
Can I reply to a review?
A public reply to a review is planned for later, and we promise no dates.
Will teachers get a blog?
A teacher blog is planned for later, and we promise no dates.
How much does it cost?
Aura is free for teachers during the beta. If paid plans appear, we will announce them separately and in advance.
What is the “Verified teacher” badge?
It is a mark that a teacher's documents have been checked; it launches in the coming releases. More on the teacher verification page.
Where does Aura work?
