Student questions
What is Aura?
Aura puts yoga classes on a map: teachers, schedules and booking in a couple of taps. Today it works as a Telegram Mini App.
How do I find a class?
Open Aura in Telegram, look at the class map and teacher profiles and pick a class that suits you. More on the For students page.
How do I book a class?
Open the class and book in one tap. The bot will remind you about the class.
How do I cancel a booking?
Cancel through your booking in the app or write to the teacher. A teacher may state cancellation rules in the class description. See the first class guide.
Do I need to install an app?
Not today: Aura works in Telegram. iOS and Android apps are on the way, and we give no dates.
How much does it cost?
The teacher sets the price of a class. During the beta Aura does not charge students.
What should I bring to a class?
A mat, water and comfortable clothes. The full list is in the What to bring guide.
Which yoga style should I choose?
A calm style such as Hatha suits a beginner. Compare the styles on the Yoga styles page.
Will a teacher see my health data?
No, your health data is not shared with a teacher without your consent. You can tell the teacher yourself what matters to you. Aura does not give medical advice.
How does Aura work in Goa?
Goa is where we start: areas, the season and retreats are described on the Yoga in Goa page. Which classes you see depends on teachers who published a schedule.
