Bali seasons: when to go for yoga
Bali stays warm all year. The drier months run roughly from April to October, with July and August the busiest. The wetter months, roughly November to March, bring heavy showers, often in the afternoon or evening, and many studios simply move their evening classes indoors.
Because studios and teachers work throughout the year, yoga in Bali is not tied to one season. Choose the weather you enjoy and check the teacher's schedule for the weeks you will be there.
Retreat or drop-in classes?
A yoga retreat is a programme of several days or weeks that usually combines daily practice, a place to stay and often meals. Drop-in classes are single sessions that you book one at a time. In Bali you can do either, or both.
If you are unsure, spend the first week on drop-in classes. You will learn which style, teacher and area suit you before you pay for a longer programme. Aura does not sell retreats: it is a map of classes and teachers.
How Aura helps a student
Aura has no teachers in Bali yet, so there is no class schedule to show here. We do not promise classes: they will appear once the first teachers publish their schedules. Leave your email on this page and we will tell you when the app is out.
Until then, the guides to Ubud, Canggu and Uluwatu below explain what classes to expect and how to choose one. In Goa, where Aura already works, you can see how the map and one-tap booking look.
How Aura helps a teacher
If you teach in Bali, you can publish your weekly schedule in Aura now and be among the first teachers on the island map. Students will book in Telegram, and you will see all bookings in one place. Aura works in Telegram today, with the mobile app on its way.
Share a link to your page in chats and groups so students can open your classes directly. How it works is on the page for teachers.
